Meets each Saturday morning in December at the station car park entrance. These rides meet at 9.15 and leave at 9.30. Monday evening rides start outside the Laburnum, Hackney Road, at 18.30. Further details of both outings from Tony Holmes. Check with Tony in case timings around the festive season are changed.

15.Boxing Day.
No relay race this year due to the club cyclo-cross on the 27th December. Please meet at 9.30 am at Brickyard Farm to help set up the course. Finished by lunch time. If you intend to come please let Harry know so that if there is a change of venue you can be notified.

17.Summer Tour 2004
We intend to go to France 9th-16th July 2004 and see part of two stage of the Tour de France. We hope to see part of the two stages near to Limoges. Travel will be by plane to Limoges. Expected cost will be about £600 which includes half board accomodation, travel and use of a back-up vehicle. This sum assumes 10+ participants. Please let me know if you are interested. Booking in the New Year.

12-15 years starts at 12.30 and lasts about 20minutes.
Under - 12 years starts at 13.30 and lasts 10 minutes.
Over - 15 years starts at 14.15 and lasts 50 minutes.
The under - 12 race is free. Any bike is suitable. You need to be at the venue about 30 minutes before the race start to sign on, get your number and look at the course. More details from Harry.
All age groups gain points in each race to produce a final Notts and Derby League table.
The club‘s Notts and Derby League promotion at Brickyard Farm takes place on Saturday 27th December with the first race, as usual, at 12.30. These races constitute Matlock CC‘s club cyclo-cross championships with trophies for under-12, youth, junior, senior and veteran age groups. Help will be needed on the day finishing the setting up of the course from about 9.30 am.
From January 2004 the club will have three sponsors. Wards Shoe Shops, Impsport and Farmers of Matlock. The club name for entry forms will be :- Matlock Cycling Club/Wards Shoe Shops/Impsport/Farmers of Matlock for Subaru.
21.New Club Strip.
An order form for the new club strip can be obtained from Harry, Danny or from the club room. Please return your order with the relevant cash to Danny by the 17th December.
Following Paul Rogers talk at club in October, we are considering originating a Peak District/Derbyshire Classic Climbs brevet. Which climbs do you consider worthy of being included? Please get a Classic Climbs voting form from Harry and return it to any committee member. Voting Update
Every year the club club decides to support a different charity and any funds raised from a variety of events will be donated to the charity chosen for that particular year.
In 2003 the charity is Muscular Dystrophy.

Note that Impruve clubs no longer exist! We are now a Go Ride Club! Activities for all ages but especially those under 16.

he club dinner and trophy presentation evening will take place on Friday, 23rd January at the Coach House, Lea. Rob has the details and the tickets.
This tour aims to see one of the Spring one day classics. It is probable that the 2004 Tour of Flanders will be the chosen race on April 4th. Cost around £300.
