This year‘s auction takes place on 12th starting at 7.30 pm. Sale items to be notified to Harry as soon as possible These items can be delivered to Harry, if members want to, before the auction so that the items can be labelled. Latest submission of items is about 6.30 on the night of the Auction at the clubroom.

17.Summer Tour 2004
We are going to France from 9th to 16th July 2004 and see part of two stages of the Tour de France, hopefully staying near to Limoges. Expected cost around £600 for transport and half board accommodation. Transport by minibus and plane with a back-up vehicle. Please let me know if you are interested. 12-15 years starts at 12.30 and lasts about 20minutes.
Under - 12 years starts at 13.30 and lasts 10 minutes.
Over - 15 years starts at 14.15 and lasts 50 minutes.
The under - 12 race is free. Any bike is suitable. You need to be at the venue about 30 minutes before the race start to sign on, get your number and look at the course. More details from Harry.
All age groups gain points in each race to produce a final Notts and Derby League table.
If you have a trophy at home please return it as soon as possible. If you think that you have won a trophy during 2003 please let me know. There is an incomplete list on the web.
From January 2004 the club will have three sponsors. Wards Shoe Shops, Impsport and Farmers of Matlock. The club name for entry forms will be :- Matlock Cycling Club/Wards Shoe Shops/Impsport/Farmers of Matlock for Subaru.

Every year the club club decides to support a different charity and any funds raised from a variety of events will be donated to the charity chosen for that particular year.
In 2003 the charity is Muscular Dystrophy.

The club dinner and trophy presentation evening will take place on Friday, 23rd January at the Coach House, Lea, 7.15 for 7.30. Tickets, £18.95 and menu from Rob.
This tour aims to see one of the Spring one-day classics. The 2004 Tour of Flanders is the chosen race on April 4th so we will depart on Saturday, 3rd April returning on Wednesday, 7th April Cost around £300. A £50 deposit, paid by 15th January, secures a place.
