e) Up to 40% off some ferry fares. A really useful ferry discount is now available to club members thanks to a company called Alternative Promotion, based in Weston Super Mare. Adge Last has used this service for many years – discounts tend to be in the region of 30 40% on a range of different crossings.
Before calling them, have all the details to hand: the crossing you want, your dates of travel and the vehicle & passenger details. Then call them (Monday to Friday office hours) with your request and they will get you a quote. You will then need to arrange payment and they will issue the tickets or a reference number.
Please be reasonable with this service don‘t make speculative calls - I usually have an idea of what the crossing would cost me from other sources so when they give me a price I can say yes or no immediately to save them from hanging around.
Alternative Promotion: 01934 824138
When you contact them it is important that you let them know that you are a cyclist from Matlock CC and have been given the contact by Adge Last.
