Course

50 Mile, A50/12.Start by the last grate in the bus layby at the junction of the A6/B5056 (Picory Corner), just before the start of the cycle track. Go east through Rowsley, past the finish, to Matlock. Encircle the island and go north on the A6 to Bakewell, Encircle the island and return to Matlock. Repeat. You go round Matlock island three times and Bakewell island three times ie 3 laps of the Matlock/Bakewell circuit.(Each lap is 16.008 miles) Finish going south by lamp post T58831 which is opposite the entrance to Harrison Way, just before the Darley Dale sign.

Event HQ


Rowsley Village Hall, School Lane, Rowsley. Open from about 5.30 There is a car park on Station Road opposite the Grouse and Claret. The result board will be in the hall and back numbers can be obtained there. The numbers can be exchanged in the hall for a drink after your ride.
It is hoped that the result will be available at http://www.argonet.co.uk/users/cj/cycling/openev/0650st.html sometime during the Monday after the event.
