1. Club Room.

The Barn club room is open each Thursday evening, after the hilly timetrial, from about 19.00. to 20.30.

Note that there is no club on Thursday, 3rd July because of the inter-club event at Buxton.

5. Club Subscriptions.

These remain the same as 2002. Seniors: �10, Under-23: �5, Under-18: �1, Family: �15. All under -18 members are required to be members of either the BCF or the CTC. Tony knows the BCF subscription rates. Subscriptions to Tony Holmes please.

8.2003 Road Race Championships.

Congratulations to Andy Dalton who is this year�s Senior Road Race Champion. 9. Timekeepers.

9. Timekeepers.

Timekeepers are needed for the club events on Thursday, May 1st and Thursday May 8th for the short hilly time trial.

10. Results of Time Trials 2003.

The results of the club�s time trials can be found on the website. Comments on the mistakes welcomed and sought.

13. Monday Morning Rides.

These start in September from Cromford Market Place at 9.30. Details later.

14. Darley Moor.

The only Matlock CC road race/crit takes place at Darley Moor on Sunday 10th August 2003. The race for 2/3/4 starts at 11.00. Entries (�12) to Richard Clark or enter on the line for �10.

15.Holiday Snaps/Slides/jpegs.

When you go on holiday, please take plenty of images so that you can regale us with your exploits on a Thursday evening as part of the Club�s Winter Programme.

Points Update.

17.Summer Tour 2004

We intend to go to France around 10th-18th July 2004 and see part of a stage of the Tour de France. Expected cost around �500-�600. Transport by minibus or train or plane or some combination of these depending on the size of the group. Please let me know if you are interested.

18.Summer Cross.

Wednesday evening cross takes place at Riddings Park on 20th August, 2003Under 12�s at 7.00pm and others at 7.30pm. You don�t need to enter, just turn up and support them. More details from 01773 570539. (Bring your lights?)

19.National 24 hour Championship.

Congratulations to the three club members who completed the 2003 Campionship. Richard did 451 miles for third place. Eric took the 50-54 age medal with 380 miles. Chris rode for Preston Wheelers and did 405 miles.

20.Best Improvers Trophies.

This will be awarded to the riders who shows the greatest percentage decrease in the time he/she takes to cover the club 10 mile time trial course compared to his/her best performance over the same course in the previous two seasons. Similarly with the Long Hilly Circuit. Ask Stewart Marsh for more details.

21.Touring Trophy.

Congratulations to Harry for winning this event. Commiserations to the Thodays who scored more points

22.Club Events in May.

Harry has next seasons Cyclo Cross handbooks for sale at �5 each.

Every year the club club decides to support a different charity and any funds raised from a variety of events will be donated to the charity chosen for that particular year.

In 2003 the charity is Muscular Dystrophy.
